Upcoming Flyball Seminar. For both new and experienced dogs!

We are very happy to announce that we will be hosting another Flyball Training Seminar in February.  Spaces are limited, so secure your spot early!  We learned alot of great information and new techniques to training.

Saturday is devoted to those wanting to start training a dog or puppy in the fast and exciting sport of flyball.  Basic and essential training techniques will be reviewed to help you and your dog start off right.  Bring a lot of treats for a full day of fun and training.

Sunday is for advanced dogs who are already competing or will soon compete in a tournament.  Advanced skills will be reviewed and trained.  We're looking forward to a great time both days.

The seminar is presented by Craig Knowles and Kristie Schultz.  They are currently running with Slammers Flyball team.  The cost is $100 for a working spot (limit 15 per day) or $40 for an auditing spot (unlimited).  Continental breakfast and lunch provided each day.

NAFA Nationals October 8 through 10, 2010

We are excited that the NAFA Nationals are going to be held again in Indianapolis on October 8-10.  The event will be held at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds and will be exciting not only to all those participating, but to observers as well.

Flyball is an exciting team sport which pits two teams of  four dogs against each other in a relay race.  Each dog on the team must successfully complete jumping over four jumps placed ten feet apart, release the ball from the box, and return over the four jumps while carrying the ball across the finish line.  The next dog will complete the same course, until all four dogs have completed the race.  The fastest team with no errors wins.

Not only will you see great racing and dog athletes, but there will also be some great shopping!

Racing  starts at 8AM each day and goes throughout the day.  Come to the Indiana State Fairground to catch the excitement.  Racing is in the West Pavilion.  See you there.
